The Center for International Development Programs seeks to incorporate an international dimension into teaching, research, and outreach so that Southern University graduates understand and appreciate the global environment in which they will function. A broader educational experience will enable students to participate effectively as leaders in a global society so as to strengthen U.S. international competitiveness within a culturally diverse and interdependent world system.
