Entergy establishes endowment, makes donation through foundation

Entergy donated $60,000 toward establishing an endowed professorship in the College of Engineering at Southern University, Baton Rouge. E. Renae Conley, president and CEO, Entergy Louisiana and Entergy Gulf States Louisiana, L.L.C, presented the gift to SU System President Ralph Slaughter during the Entergy Economic Development Summit Luncheon hosted by the Southern University System. Retired U.S. Lt. Gen. Russel Honoré made a guest appearance at the luncheon.

Additional Support — Southern University, Baton Rouge also received a gift of $6,200 from the Entergy Charitable Foundation through the United Negro College Fund, Incorporated.
