SU professor earns arboriculture, urban forestry honors

Professor Zhu Hua Ning

Zhu Hua Ning, professor, urban forestry, Southern University, Baton Rouge, has been elected president of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), Arboricultural Research & Education Academy.

ISA has more than 22,000 members and is the largest international arboriculture and urban forestry society in the world.

Ning has also been selected as an associate editor for the Journal of Arboriculture & Urban Forestry.

As associate editor, Ning sit on the journal’s editorial board. The board is charged with maintaining the scientific integrity and international appeal of the AUF, while striving to disseminate information regarding trees and their care to arboriculture and urban forestry researches and practitioners.
